Sorry to rub salt into the wounds but I have one and it is flowering at the moment. One thing that may be of interest is that they thrive on neglect. If you care for them too well, i.e. fertilise alot, they will not flower here either. You need to treat them mean to get the best flower show.

Many plants will flower when stressed as a survival mechanism. You may be able to ellicit some flowers using some method to stress the plant.
