Your plant is most probably S. x chelsonii. You need to give it full sunlight to bring out the red colour. You won't get seeds if you do not pollinate your Sarracenia flower. Do you pollinate the flower?

My experience is 4 months if you pollinate the flower. Full sunlight means direct sun from morning until evening. No need to worry about the hot temperature. Mine survive very well although the temperature exceed 40 degree Celcious.
