Wow, what a great plant! Is it in very intense light or is it just naturally that red? Can it be propagated from leaf cuttings? That is nice! This comes from Latin America? Does it grow in warm or cool conditions? I read that this is the prettiest in its genus. True to that claim. This is indeed a beautiful plant. There's a plant that looks pretty sickly in comparison to yours at ; http://www.plantarara.com/carnivoren_galerie/drosera/drosera.htm and another a little bit better at http://www.bestcarnivorousplants.org/fotogalerie/sr50-.html maybe they want your picture to use as an example! Yes, it comes from latin america (Brazil). It thrives in cool conditions but it might cope with warm temperatures. It gets that intense red robe if given plenty of light. This species can be propagated easily by leaf cuttings. David, i don't know if it's the prettiest in its genus. The other Droseraholic might not agree but it is indeed a spectacular plant. I should have some Drosera other pictures soon. François. « Last Edit: 12 Mar, 2008, 17:29 by sockhom »Link to Post - Back to Top Loggedifurita Junior Member member is offline Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 71 Location: Singapore Re: Drosera graomogolensis « Reply #6 on 12 Mar, 2008, 22:36 »Woah, that is a really nice plant!!! It's one of my favorites, as well. This one is growing in fairly warm conditions: Not the best photo, I'm afraid. If you look closely, you can see a small plant emerging below right center. It is supposed to be self-fertile, as well.
