Is the price tag on the pot the price of your xventrata? It is RM12.00!!! If so, it is really cheap. You should get a couple more pots. Any other neps species in the nurseries in Batu Pahat? Would be interesting to know the prices there. A single plant can take over the entire space if allowed to. You could get some compact truncata hybrids to place in between your other plants. try N. Marbled Dragon, Red Dragon and Black Dragon to name a few. More truncata hybrids are always appearing so watch for them. I bought it at Xin florist in Batu Pahat. They only have N.xventrata but are all cheap. I'm going to Best Nursery during Thaipusam to see if they got VFT,Sarra or other Neps. They got N.Truncata for only RM35, and the size is quite big, about 20 inches in diameter. A truncata would be well worth the purchase even though they could be double price of a Ventrata. Ventratas also grows too easily from cuttings, so if you want more, just make cuttings, since they are all the exact same plant in essence since they are tc. That works out to $10 for a 20" truncata. Man you guys are lucky. Most places here sell them for $20 to $25 for a 4 or 5" plant, cheapest place is $18 for a 6-12" plant Link to Post - Back to Top ![]() Species seed is worth its weight in platinum Valhalla when I die plantlover Senior Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() member is offline ![]() Now I'm getting more experienced ![]() Joined: Jan 2008 Gender: Male ![]() Posts: 484 Location: Batu Pahat, Johor ![]() « Reply #9 on Jan 23, 2008, 3:48pm » But if I bought a VFT or Sarra already, can I put them outside? My house is beside a jungle and it is really cold after heavy rain at night. It is also quite humid.
