How to make my Dancing plant branch out?
Was wondering if anyone has tried cutting their plant so that it grows more branches. I have these plantlets about 4-8 inches tall but they just kept growing upwards without any branches.
I tried to cut about 1 inche from the top of one and the whole plant died. There were still leaves left on the main branch. I tried another that is a bigger plant. A new growing tip grow out from the main branch and is a couple of inches tall now. But the main branch stopped growing with no leaves. The new growing point continues to grow upwards with no branches. Why don't they just branch out?

Re: How to make my Dancing plant branch out?
David, you should let the plant grow larger and practise good regular fertiliser schedule. To the least wait untill the plant reach up to about 12"-18" high before practise your cutting skill. It won't produce more than 2 shoots if the plant is too skinny and fragile.
I think your plant is rather weak as from what you've described above. Feed it! |

Ok sifu. Will wait and feed it more first. Thanks. Guess I was too hard on my poor dancing plants. Shall pamper them more from now on.
