« Reply #3 on May 25, 2007, 12:01pm » hi artificialive. for the pic 4, i still have no idea of what kind of hybrid it is. pitcher's peristome is green when young. it turns dark when mature. the pic10 is n. coccaina if not mistaken. the plant is a male plant growing in extremely healthy condition. it grows a lot of offshoots and basal shoots. i'd give some cuttings to bifurcatum through mail a few days ago. i shall post some other pictures of the plant later. « Last Edit: May 25, 2007, 12:09pm by ding »Link to Post - Back to Top 60.50.237.148 ding

Hmm, nice upper pitcher of xhookeriana. I think I shall let my "hooker" vine so I can have the uppers.

« Reply #7 on May 25, 2007, 2:14pm » Ding,

Did you mean N. xcoccenia rather than N. coccaina?

If it is xcoccenia, it sure is different from what I use to see. This is great as it means you have a plant from a different clone than the ones we use to see in nurseries.

Do you have more cuttings to spare?

Hmm, I am not sure but do you think it might be N. xtrichocarpa?

If I'm not mistaken Pic 10 is an upper pitcher of hybrid between N.ampullaria and N.mirabilis = N.kuchingensis.

« Reply #12 on May 27, 2007, 12:26pm » hi bifurcatum. pic12 is the hybrid between n. rafflesiana and n. mirabilis. in fact the hybrid comes from the habitat where n. rafflesiana, n. mirabilis, n. ampullaria and n. gracilis exist. the upper pitcher is about 15 cm in length.

Hi all,
this is a pic of N. xKuchingensis from GCS. It is globose rather then cylindrical..
