I think this time BE is a little bit too rush in selling these seedlings.
No doubt both the parents are awesome and spectacular, but in order to see the true performance of these seedlings, maybe you need to wait for another 3-4 years. BE has stopped all retail transaction and only sell by wholesale channel, meaning that they are pushing these seedlings out from as small as 2cm . My friends in HK and Singapore have received them and they are really less than 1 inch. I hope by the time they reach here after Raya, they can grow a little bit. So to make all our money paid worth it. Perhaps this is BE's tactic to go against EP's campanulata x lowii , which was out also recently. But I think if they can hold their breath for a little bit longer and grow the plants bigger, it can target more customers and reach out to more. Just my 2 cents. |
