guess that's some really old stuff, project should be long gone since no one was free to get involve in any project...

if possible, would suggest mod to slowly sum up those old topic that are copied and pasted from old forum to the current forum(of course those that still matter, not those that are not applicable any more), there are some nice info, but with all the copy and paste, things are pretty mess up and hard to read...

just an opinion

I was the one who opened my big mouth way back then. heheh.

There were rumors : last time i met up with the some well-known CP Suppliers, they winked winked at me & said that a Nepenthes sanctuary of sorts was to be created at Penang Hill. Dunno if that`s turning out to be a reality or not. If it does or already has, we can easily contribute our excess neps there ( & create a genetic nightmare for the nep species in Penang heheh )

well.....Penang Hill isn`t exactly very near the sea. You`ll get salty air I`m sure but no actual salt attacking the CPs.

What`s more amazing :Cephalotus grows along the coastal areas in Australia, like next to the sea or swamps ( salty ).
