Sorry for the shiny stuff, I meant that is the lip of your VFT shiny? When
VFTs are digesting, they bend teeth outward and seal the lip of the trap with a mucus that can look kinda shiny and like liquid. Unless your VFT is leaking by the lobes? Perhaps the VFT is vomiting....

The protein in the fish food might be causing the over production of the juices.

Maybe,there are MOLD Growing out of the trap,like the ones that grow on exoskeleton of insect.
White colored.Maybe it's fungus?

Why did you do that....You must only give it Living food like u know mosquitoes and things like that.

To me again not advisable to give your VFT that.....That white thing well lets just say ur trap will go bye bye.....Its the same as a part of the insect is left outside and the whole trap dies but not the whole plant haha......

Well at least this experiment can't go too badly. All you can lose is one trap.
(This is also why you don't feed your VFT the dreaded hamburger meat)
