Hi All, I'm wondering if I would want to order some seeds from webstore like rarexoticseeds.com, is phytosanitary certificate a must? I heard it's not needed for seeds order though.

You don't need the phyto certificate for seed. The regulations vary from country to country so it is best check with the locals first. A couple of examples is that in the US a small seed import permit is required. In Australia seed can be sent without any certificates although there is a list of restricted species due to the possibility of them becoming a weed (The silly thing about this is that seeds of Australian native plants are currently prohibited because no one has been bothered to fill out the form to allow them to be imported).
Most retail seed outlets will know if there are regulations if you ask. To answer your question I don't think you will have any problems with importing seed. |

Thanks. I've just double confirmed with local authority; the certificate it's not needed. Now that I would like to get my hands on those seeds but they're sold out
![]() Anyway, is Gibberellic Acid really going to help a lot on seeds propagation?

These plants need something to breakdown the thick seedcoat to allow them to germinate. It certainly wont harm seeds that don't have a thick seed coat but will promote faster germination on many species. |

Good to know. I'm thinking to get D. Derbyensis, D. Madagascariensis, D. Roraimae and D. Capensis Red seeds then propagate 'em. I just can't seem to find these plants here though.
Well, now that I know GA3 is ![]() From most articles I read; 200ppm for 24 hours. Any idea? Thanks ![]()
