Hello guys.........
![]() After spending three hours today, I finally completed my first HL terrarium. Pheww.....anyways, I plan to put my (Secret Nepenthes) in this terrarium and any HL CPs that I get in the future. The dimensions of the styrofoam box is roughly 2 feet in length, 1.5 feet in width and 1.2 feet in height. I know it kinda looks crude......but I just used a simple knife to cut and shape the whole terrarium! ![]() Ok...... ![]() ![]() Top view of the terrarium. ![]() These are ventilation holes. Located on the sides of the boxes, total four of these holes. I use styrofoam cubes to plug the holes. These holes are to ventilate the whole terrarium during the daytime. I plan to leave all four open during the day. ![]() Side view of the terrarium. ![]() Comparing the terrarium with my hand......beside is the handy knife that I used to dice the whole terrarium..... ![]() ![]() Notice the plates in the terrarium filled with water? If you are wondering what they are for, I am actually trying to increase the humidity of the terrarium first. It should be ready tomorrow for my HL CPs. I also filled the floor with perlite. Any suggestions to improve the terrarium will be greatly appreciated. I hope all of you guys can give me an idea how to improve the terrarium, although not now. I do not want to use any electrical items at all. More updated pictures of the terrarium will follow tomorrow when it is ready. ![]() Thanks Cheers
