One species I know of that bypass the flower stage is U. subulata. Mind don't show any flowers but seed pods.
But U. sandersonii usually flower non stop all year round.
How long it take to flower.... hmm.... I didn't really take note on that but it won't take long, a week I guess or may abit longer.
