Hey Ban Aik. We were not the first to get them. It was a Penangnite. I was there on Saturday to get mine and out of all the plants, one was outstandingly beautiful and guess who already booked it... our Lim (picesilim)! He's even faster than all of us.

Well done on the Sun Pitcher. One of local members of the ACPS does grow these very well. He reckons that it like bright conditions, he keep winning the monthly award for best plant at the meeting. Also he recommond a feed of very diluted sealsol and liquid fertilzer, applied to the foliage, once month.
I would still keep it cool, I grow mine in the shadehouse. They are starting to pick up.

Khoas,

Can I use follia fert? Those that I use on my Tillandsias. Maybe that would help my BE clone to grow bigger pitchers. Pitchers do not seem to be getting bigger although it keep growing more new traps.

We use seasol ( a seaweed concerate) and a fish based fertilizer at 1/4 strenght used for orchids. Fertilize once a month, during the active growing season, directly into the pitchers. Same techinque can be used for Neps, Ceph and Sarra, not that I fertilze my Sarra. They are very good catching their own.
For Drosera and Mexican Pings mist on the leaves.

ok ok, confession time. i was there on friday afternoon with my friend who is now crazy about CPs, because we got nothing better to do. i didnt even know whether they were selling anything or not. i took a pot and he took one. this is our first time buying heliamphoras. so, we left the rest to others..... only 1 pot each, i swear. i am going to repot it and am seriously thinking of dividing it since it is quite big plant. wish me luck......
