Impressive again Athene-it wouldnt grow bigger like that if it didnt like your conditions

I can see 2 plants-I would carefully seperate these out and pot them up seperatly or they will compete with each other and one will get completely swamped.

Waah, ur plants are already showing the effects of the love u gave them keep up the good work! Now u see, its not that hard to keep CPs rite? hehe

very nice Athene......Question : have you become a CP convert yet ? i used to grow all sorts of plants but lately only specialise in CPs.....I can`t have the `other` ( i now call them The Others, so bad I know) competing with my CPs for space & sunlite....plus I am scared of spillover fertilisers....alas, mine`s a small garden. I know yours is huge so mebbe you have the luxury of keeping all sorts of plants. Do you `bunch` all your CPs in the same spot ? Just curious....

tarence, yup I do put them non-neps. CPs together, at the edge of the porch. the hanging neps. are under the pergola, while the bigger ones bought from the 'orang kampung' nursery are too heavy to hang are on the table at the edge of the pergola for maximum sunlight.

i have some neps. hanging low from my red palm & they are surrounded by lots of plants including my vanilla plant - it's very humid. My formerly 'charity case' mirabillis loves this environment so much, lots of basl shoots!

check my august 3rd photo of the ping, if you look at 2 o'clock, there's a nub of some kind.

the nub has since become a plantlet! must be the diet of the tiny grasshopper (can you see the remain of it?) causing it to clone like this. i've checked, it's rooted, so soon i'll get another plant.

yep, Athene , it`s a plantlet. Primulifloras propagate this way...i`ve got a few.....

initially, , the ****es were a lil` tough to stabilise after `separation anxieties` from the mother plant. but i`m getting better at reading light intensity, water levels etc. it`s basically normal plant logic actually, i figured later.....you should be an expert ! heheh.

the plant that I separated died, but leaving the main plant singlely really boosted it propogating mood! It has since produced many plantlets from the leaves & the plant has grown quite big! And yes, I've transplanted it into a bigger pot and it looks like it's outgrowing it soon too...

The plant looks miserable, but it had a surprise in store for me when I got back my recent trip





I'm done trying to transplant the plantlets, they keep dying on me! I'm just letting it be, but I'm concern about the slimy mold on the spag. moss, should I transplant once it's done flowering?

Tarence, look like I did it! Next challenge, the D. adelae.
