Re: My tissue culture D. hartemeyororum
David, I'm getting the usual 'D. indica like' problem with my D. hartemeyerorum. The bottom part of the stem dries up, and the top part will start to topple.
Any advice? Should I cut + just poke it back in the media & pray hard it'll take root? Or do I chuck it in water? |

Re: My tissue culture D. hartemeyororum
A few of my plants are also showing this symptoms. I wonder why. Not only that the new leaves are very short. I am as lost as you. Lets see if others know about this.

Re: My tissue culture D. hartemeyororum
Mine has topple over. The upper leaves are now much longer and more vigorous causing it to topple over. The insects it caught from the exhibition has given it sudden growth spurt.

Re: My tissue culture D. hartemeyororum
The D. indica and D. hartmeyerorum plants can be cut and the upper portion of the stem used as cuttings. Similar to how we do it to Byblis liniflora. Having said this, I have not tried it on D. hartmeyerorum before though a friend had. He said that the mother plant responded by sending offshoots up from the base of the stem.
