Harris, if it`s going dormant, it`ll lose all it`s leaves, curl up , be a lil` greyish. Or the active leaves will become smaller & smaller.
If you still have active leaves, try leaf pulling to germinate some new plants. A paradoxa gone dormant may or may not recover. It`ll take a few weeks. You may discover a plantlet or 2 once / if it recovers. Or the plantlet/(s) might take over the mother plant.
