Re: My tissue culture D. hartemeyororum
I forget now shawn do they glow in infrared light or UV light? Need to watch the video again
Pretty sure your TV IR will not do the trick Cindy, sorry. But can't figure out what other source there is to test. UV lights, there are many LED UV lights being sold now in toy stores, the ones that allow you to write a secret message and use the UV light to show the message. That toy worked on my brother's scorpion nicely and even to show security indicators on paper money that glow on UV lights. TTFN Arvin

Re: My tissue culture D. hartemeyororum
Great job David, I'm embarrassed to even think about taking a picture of mine! I think you guys and your artificial light set-ups are winning me over in terms of Drosera growing! The D. tokenensis seem to be doing the best out of everything I got from Alex and the D. scorpionoides gammae from CP_Unlimited are doing great!

Re: My tissue culture D. hartemeyororum
Shawn,
Why not build a few grow chamber just for your "pet" Sundews? I want to see as I know it'll be really nice. Or build something like what hongrui showed us before. A structure that protects the plants from rain.

Re: My tissue culture D. hartemeyororum
Was able to review the snaptentacles and running lights, and unfortunately I couldn't find any info if they glow in UV or IR, he used a flashlight to show that the running lights glow.
Yeah I love looking at mixed community bog pots... A mix of droseras would be nice too. That is why I have 12" diameter pots that are shallow for these, but 3 of them are now used for VFTs, but have some drosera plantlets sprinkled around. TTFN Arvin

Re: My tissue culture D. hartemeyororum
This species is fast becoming my favourite Drosera. i realised today that my "pet's" tentacles are turning red. New leaves are also starting to go red.
