Nepenthes prefer some shading up to 70%. Otherwise, no CPs like full shading. Most like full sun.

After I posted my question I did some research on the net and someone recommended Sarracenia Parrot & S. Purple. I have since lost the website that recommended it though!

Nope Sarracenia LOVES full sun. Their colour become more intense and more beautiful...for S. Purple I think you mean Sarracenia purpurea they like bright shade :D Hope this helps

I don't think Sarracenia love shade area. May be they can grow under shade. But the pitcher won't show red colour. The famous shade sundew is 3 Queensland Sisters. -- D. adelae, D. prolifera, D. schizandra.
