Did you take a closer look if the main stem produced roots while clasping and growing upwards?

Only 13 of us with mike and geoge, some pullout last minute.
Didnt notice there are root growing out from the stem, the surface of the tree is very dry. It hug on to the tree using the leaf and can grow as high as 20-30ft which reach the top of the tree.
