Thanks for the explanation Edward and I have really misunderstood as well, because when I reread your post you did mention that he should wait till there is no more growth or at least very slow growth. Preparing for Dormancy in advance is I agree important because you'd want to be sure you have a good place to put your plants for dormancy, either a place in the ref or a nice cool place for dry dormancy.

What about S.swaniana(pupureaXminor).I think my Sarra is this hybird.

Well this has not much bout dormancy but i saw the picture(to me looks fine though) Anyways i see the pot is hanging so do you put a trya underneath it???
