IMHO, I don't think facebook is meant for any in-depth discussion, trouble shooting and sharing knowledge + experience. Technically speaking, it won't replace PP's forum roles, it may even help giving PP the needed exposure to more people around the world.
I dare to say everyone of us that have a FB account will spend more time in FB then in the PP forum... correct??  Access to PP via FB will be easier too with the ease of posting comments and updates via mobile devices like iPhone, Blackberry and other smart phones....
