Bought from monkeycup (Eric) of Penang. I think this is what it is.. Supposedly a cross of gracillima and ventricosa. The pitchers seem to take a very long time to inflate.. this is the first proper pitcher after purchase about half a year ago. Confirmation of ID would be appreciated.

yes.. i have bought this from him too last 2 months ago, it is called "red lantern" , the parents you mentioned are correct too.
This nep like full sun with moist media, it seems like the pitcher can last very long, mine have no signs of drying at all and yet the pitcher size about 10cm |

Yes, I got one too, came in along with N. Dyeriana on the same batch. I still find it's either N. gracilima x ventricosa or N. ramispina x ventricosa....

Yes, cbkhoon.
Oh well, perhaps with the name of N. gracilima as one of possible parent, it'll get a more "exotic" status?? I'll wait until it starting to produce uppers to give it another look for it's possible parents. Whatever it is, it's a nice plant with dark colored leaves... ![]() |
