I think I will have a "mini" project coming very soon. This Andy is always bad news when he posts. LOL. Thanks. It says there that he uses metal frame, PVC layer(i think it's for the back) and finally a layer of felt. It says "a felt layer, made of polyamide is stabled on the PVC". Anyone here knows where to get this "felt" or similiar suggestions? I'd appreciate very much. « Last Edit: 31 Oct, 2007, 13:29 by isaacgoh »Link to Post - Back to Top ![]() Advisor - Tillandsia ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() member is offline ![]() ![]() Joined: May 2007 Gender: Male ![]() Posts: 286 Location: Penang, Malaysia ![]() « Reply #11 on 31 Oct, 2007, 21:32 »I'm not familiar with those materials either. But I find lava rock, tree fern slab or sphagnum moss will be very useful to retain moisture. As for the structure, I might be using railway sleepers to act as the foundation or substrate for mounting. I'll keep you updated with my vertical project along the way. Cheers, isaac |
