Growing Carnivorous Plant - Barry Rice
« Thread Started on Feb 3, 2008, 7:00am » Hi all.

Would like to recommend this book to all Cp growers. This book has some great general information on a range of CP's including those not covered very well in other books, eg Aldrovanda, Genlisea and Byblis.

This book contains information on the natural growing conditins of the plants as well as some tips from succesfull growers. The color pictures are also very good.

Would be interested to hear from any one else that has read the book. I think it is available online through Amazon.

« Reply #4 on Mar 4, 2008, 3:52pm » Just to update everyone, I've got the book about 1-2 weeks already. Nice pictures and good simple cultivation info on those not-so-well-known species. Just what I needed... info on Genlisea, Utric and Aldrovanda.

Fell in love with Aldrovanda after I saw Barry Rice's pictures in the book. Nice photography. This is gonna be in my want list now... Aldrovanda (red) that do not need dormancy.

Total cost is USD$36.00 ++ which is about RM114.00 ++ Wanted to get a signed copy through Berry's website but he does not accept credit card payment. On top of that I'm broke.
