Default INFRACTION SYSTEM

What is the infraction system?

Infractions are points that can be given to a member when the member violates/breaks any terms & conditions on the forum. It is basically a merit-demerit system but works the opposite, meaning points are given instead of taken away.

Who can issue infractions?

Administrators, Moderators and Administrative staff are allowed to issue infractions to members when a member breaks/violates any terms & conditions, rules and ethics on the forum. Members will be sent a Personal Message (PM) notifying them of the infraction and why it was given. All Administrative staff will be notified as well. Abusive attacks via e-mail, Private Message, or in any way against the Administrative staffs are wholly unacceptable and will result in a total ban from the forum.

Which member group are subject to the infraction system?

All registered users on PetPitcher are subjected to the infraction system.

Infraction points and what it means

When a member's infraction points reaches 6, they will be automatically placed under probation where they will have limited access on the forum. When a member's infraction points reaches 10, the system will automatically ban the member from the forum and he/she will not be able to participate further in the forum.

All registered members are able to see other member's infraction level in their profile page.
