Re: David: My new "Pet"
Not so good. I've been ignoring my CPs for a while now diverting my attention on setting up this new forum and transfering date over from the old forum to the new one.
The media dried up a couple of times so some of the leaves are brown now.

Re: David: My new "Pet"
Ken, it`s expensive and hard to care for.
Monthly contest ? heheh. Too much trouble & time consuming to organise. We do the yearly anniversary contest & even that takes a lot of our time organising , getting sponsored prizes etc etc Remember we don`t charge membership here & we don`t have $$$ to play around with. Re: David: My new "Pet"
If your able to order from Wistuba(wistuba.com), they have Heliamphora species and hybrids for sale for a slightly lower price than other nurseries. The only thing is that since they are based in Germany, you might have to deal with CITES paperwork.

Re: David: My new "Pet"
Just posting some updates on my heliam. Alas it has given me a bigger pitcher that looks more like a Heliam pitcher... The new developing pitcher is at the center of the picture in lighter green colour. It is still developing at the moment. You can see the other smaller leaves/pitchers that it has produce at the side:
