Hi Bonsay. The leaves that you have described are called phyllodia. They occur on a few plants when they are going into dormancy. You need to provide them with a dormancy period during this time. There are several ways that you can do this and the method described by TS should work for you and is fairly simple. During this time you can allow them to dry alomost completley. I know of people that have had the peat mess shrinking away from the pot it was that dry and when they put them back into water trays they started floating around. They are now in some of their best growth ever. Cheers.
