Beginning of rainy season....
Yay !! Now it started to rain.... With cooler night time temperature and higher humidity, my neps started to respond well to the change in weather pattern.
Here's some of the pics to share N. andamada (confirmed by Marcello) N. x Goblin (N. maxima x talangensis) N. gracilis N. x hookeriana N. kongkandana N. x kuchingensis N. lowii x boschiana - More colorful N. maxima-dark x merrilliana - finally colored up and gaining in size N. mirabilis var globosa N. mirabilis var globosa x xkuchingensis N. x trichocarpa N. truncata x ephippiata - Only the first pitcher N. ventricosa x ovata - adapting well to L/L weather, albiet smaller pitcher size Unknown 1 (Suspected a form of N. sp Giant Tigers) Unknown 2 (possibly a form of N. kongkandana or something else) Unknown 3 (perhaps a complex hybrid with N. mirabilis) That's all for now... thanks for viewing.

Re: Beginning of rainy season....
Hey Rob!
Good start for an exercise N. kongkandana is for sure N. kongkandana because I guess - I hope - you collected seeds or cuttings from the areas where we found this species. About unknown 1,2,3, we should understand if they are natural hybrids or if they were produced in a greenhouse. Unfortunately, many new hybrids have been made in captivity. If we don't know the province of origin of the mother plants, we can't know what they are. You should ask the seller if the seeds/cuttings of n. 1,2,3 have been produced in captivity or if they are from the wild. UPDATE: giving a better look, it seems to me that unknown 1 is N. andamana x mirabilis var. globosa, unknown 2 is N. suratensis from Kanchanadit and unknown 3 is a man-made hybrid. Re: Beginning of rainy season....
Thanks for sharing... Really great neps.. BTW, how much does the average merilliana hybrid cost..? I'm keen to try one because I like big, big pitchers, but am not sure where to obtain them locally.. What would you recommend..? Thanks
