Yea... From experiment, agree with what Cindy and others said. But, what I did is, I use knife
. For D. petiolaris, I cut it to 2, but, try to make sure the mother plant have root attached. Then replant the mother and the "cut". End result is, I have 3 plant totally.

Use tweester to replant it together with mother leaf. Cover the pot.
