I grow this one too and its not as difficult to grow as you'd think. Here's a pic when it was going to flower some time back(I lost the pic of the flower):

nice gypsi .
she is difficult on some year for their dormancy . in this case she have a water horror ,often resulting in its rot what is your substrat ? just sphagnum . 'in situ' they are gypsicole ![]() jeff |

The plant looks totallly difference in difference season... May I know the plant can grow at tropical country?

yes 2 different form for 2 different saison
here the winter form in dormancy ![]() you can see here the mexican habitats , before choice in a google modul the language . clic on mexican and after habitats ( climats, temperature,raining ,etc). http://fern72.free.fr/siteweb/pinguicula.html you can try in tropical country ,the mexican are tropical but from 800m to 3000m . jeff |

Well, I'm from Singapore and I grow it. One grows in peat and perlite, the other on sphagnum. Neither gives and problems, even when grown on the tray system. They don't seem to need the dormancy period so far.
