Default Balloon like plant

Hi everyone.Last weekend I went with my mum to the HEE Nursery, the one in Sungai Buloh. There were Cps there but most of them are Neps and the VFTs ther look sick.I was dissapointed so we go to the other nurseries near by and my mum found this guy(we did not bring the camera there so I took it at home)Maybe Neps evolve from these(just a theory, don't be angry at me)

I think that is a water hyacinth, Eichhornia crassipes. It's an invasive species in lakes and rivers around the world, you can find them growing like a green carpet in the old mining lakes in Kepong or beside the Sunway interchange. When I used to breed bettas, this plant is useful because of the fine roots (the baby fish gets hiding place). The light violet flowers are really beautiful.

This plant is an introduced sp. as it's not native in Malaysia. I think it's from the Amazon if my memory serve me right. Now considered as weeds by our irrigation authority. So is the papyrus. They are really fast spread all over in short period of time given full sun.

Water Hycinths I think it's common name is. Weeds as it chokes up water ways. Can be used as animal feed.
