Wow u actually feed fish to them? Well i've never tried that but could that possibly make the traps last shorter because as it rots it might cause the pitchers/traps to rot as well..Maybe just go with bugs but well if it works well for you ignore me . Anyway for truncata a plant usually has 2-3 pitchers or even just 1 at a time based on my experience so yea you don't get bunches of 14 inch pitchers. Hope this helps
