I have a skink called Mr Zach (for those who haven't an idea, they are a type of lizard with ridiculously tiny legs and big sausage shaped bodies that waddle their way through grasslands and tropical forest floors) that I can bring along and introduce to the kids. Probably a more educational conversation piece than what dogs and cats can offer in a milestone.
