Edward's terrarium for HL CPs.......
Hello guys.........
After spending three hours today, I finally completed my first HL terrarium. Pheww.....anyways, I plan to put my (Secret Nepenthes) in this terrarium and any HL CPs that I get in the future. The dimensions of the styrofoam box is roughly 2 feet in length, 1.5 feet in width and 1.2 feet in height. I know it kinda looks crude......but I just used a simple knife to cut and shape the whole terrarium! Ok...... Top view of the terrarium. These are ventilation holes. Located on the sides of the boxes, total four of these holes. I use styrofoam cubes to plug the holes. These holes are to ventilate the whole terrarium during the daytime. I plan to leave all four open during the day. Side view of the terrarium. Comparing the terrarium with my hand......beside is the handy knife that I used to dice the whole terrarium.....I mean cut..... Notice the plates in the terrarium filled with water? If you are wondering what they are for, I am actually trying to increase the humidity of the terrarium first. It should be ready tomorrow for my HL CPs. I also filled the floor with perlite. Any suggestions to improve the terrarium will be greatly appreciated. I hope all of you guys can give me an idea how to improve the terrarium, although not now. I do not want to use any electrical items at all. More updated pictures of the terrarium will follow tomorrow when it is ready. Thanks Cheers
