Ferterlizers......WAIT!!!!See it

I bought the book"The Savage Garden"from Kinokuniya,KLCC.(which is very expensive,it cost me my pocket money and a fortune RM98......good thing i save up)
The auther says that you can mix fertelizer with water and use plant spray to spray the solution on the leaf of CPs.And not onto the media.
Anyone tried this method?He says once a month or two........
