Thanks for the encouragement Shawn! But nothing beats the privilege of having to grow outdoor plants, they really make the plants complete their growth cycle at a normal rate I guess (mine is slow in growth and never once form any gemmae yet) - and to avoid water splashing maybe you can have an acrylic sheet roofing made for them or something?

The D.palacea ssp palacea is a must have. It looks totally stunning when fully grown. This is the one I got from David sometime last year. Thanks David! :D

Thanks Shamrock! It's simple but it's worth a try, really!! It took me less than half a day to get everything up.

Yeah Marvin the paradoxa is not red enough. Worse still it was totally green when I first started the setup using daylight bulbs only XD. As for the D tokaiensis, it's a drosera from Japan. It's really similar to D spathulata except for the slightly rounder look of the petioles. Easy to grow. Mine I just snip off from the old dying rosette and stuffed it into sphagnum. It's still putting out new leaves n spite of the disturbance. :0
