harlem2345,
Lithops is its name and they are plants. However, growers and laymen call them living stones of flowering stones as they look like small stones in their natural surroundings. It's a camouflage to protect them from predators. If I am not wrong they are from southern Africa and grow in very hot and dry areas (Somebody correct me if I am wrong). They can survive in these extreme conditions because they have the unique ability to store water.

By the way Jon,
I've ordered a couple for myself from the nursery you recommended. can't wait for them to arrive.

At the moment, sometimes you can find them in nurseries up in Cameron Highlands. If not you will need to order them online.

Perhaps when my stocks arrive, I'll see if I can spare you a few.
