Marvin, here's how I pot my plants.

I use the Ikea terracotta pot, which is very cooling for the plants. I use a small handful of LFS as base, a mix of perlite, peat moss and vermiculite for the main media with perlite dressing on top. I reckon Cindy also has excellent results with her mix. Hope that helps.

Marvin, the pot you can find in the garden section. Also repot your ceph ASAP coz the LFS looks a bit too wet. Did you put it indoors or outdoors? The black silica sand you can find in aquarium shops. Just ask for black sand. Your media can be peat/perlite or peat/sand.

yes you can find it in the ikea garden section. well, if you take care not to water too much while it is still growing in sphagnum moss, it will survive. the key is to allow it to take as much sun as possible without heating the roots, and to allow the media to be moist and not wet.

i have two pots of ceph in sphagnum for 2 years. i water them once every two weeks when the weather is dry and once every three weeks when it's raining season. you have to control if you grow in sphagnum.

but if you grow in peat moss/perlite, you need not worry so much. just water once every 2-3 days.
