before carrying out work the inside hood have to be sterilised using bleach or spirit. The jars with the ingredients are cooked withr pressure cooker for 25 minutes and they are sterile. They are opened only inside the sterilised hood ( do not open outside as that will let contaminants in )

Thanks Robert!
For me now,keeping the media sterile when its out from the microwave is hard since that i cant tight the cap and most of my media contaminated at that part.

Hi Harris..if you are using the original cap, dont tighten it when they are put into the oven. cap it loosely. After sterilisation wait for them to cool down, tighten the caps as u take them out.
