Most of drosera
1. need a lots of sunlight
2. water tray
3. try to protect them from rain, so that yours plant will looks better.
4. spagnum moss

Some of them have dormancy period. Common sp that have dormancy period are D. filiformis, drosera complex form, tuberous drosera and pgymy.

Casey's reply I agree, specially because you did not give specific species, there are so many drosera species with different needs.

I too like putting something over my droseras to protect them from overhead watering or rain, you can see them dew like crazy this way.

D. Filiformis goes into dormancy but this one in my opinion wakes up on their own quite nicely, plus you can do leaf cuttings fairly easily with them as well. My Favorite beginner Drosera however is the D. Spatulata.
