« Reply #3 on May 2, 2007, 3:24pm » Dunno how to show the growing conditions but here`s a brief write up of what I do & use :

medium : for most CPs, 70% spaghum moss, 30 peat moss
water : MOSTLY RAIN WATER from the heavens, meaning natural...plain tap water is fine also
how to water : TRAY METHOD
cleaning methods : i change the water twice a week, scrub EACH pot clean of moss...also run water thru the pots to clean it of any un-welcomed substance i.e. dirt etc
sun : full sun

« Reply #6 on May 2, 2007, 4:41pm » Neps under 50 or 70% shade but i monitor their tolerance...the n.hookeriana seems to be okay fully exposed but in really hot weather like now, it`s leaves are sgetting burn spots so i put some black netting over it

tray method ? nope, i`m told it`ll drown the neps...so it`s just regular watering twice a day or more if i`m home...the spag moss retains quite a bit of water.
