[Edmund] CP in the House
hi guys,
Here with share my terrarium that had been setup last few month . Now is growing mature and stable. For those have a thought / planning to have a CP tank in the house/room. Here is the step : Note : it might not the best way but it work to me First prepare the tank size that suit for you ALWAYS please have some scape in your mind and decided which one to go before start the first step The glue is not direct on the glass but on the blue sticker. it is easier to clean for the next time if i change the background board. or turn the tank into others purpose. Tie the plant with some stick. However. those plant no grow well due too hot on top. After that, i bought some air plant /tilansia plant and now they are growing healthy in the tank. As you can see top on the left and right. there is two holes for each corner which allow air flow to go in and out. The sponge filter will be use for the basement where filter out the dirt. When i pour/ spray the water, it will go through the medium and sponge. By doing this way, it make more clean after the water accumulate in the lower layer (white color area). Wrap another type of sponge for double filtration. This is what been setup at the first stage. The Sphagnum moss are fresh grow greenish as i everyday spray on them. The rest of CP are still try to adapt the tank environment. Some fungus grow till time to propagate. It nice to look at them and sometime it giving suprise with sudden boost out the *mushroom* ..as you wont notice them everyday. This is more cute fungus... Baby of Nep. Ampullaria green. After the plant on the top dry out. I replace with air plant. They do like the place. The tank shot at last month. The nep start pitcher and drosera start flowering. some fern start grow on the right bottom side. U gibba start grow in crowd as well. Moss and fissiden start attach everwhere. Another angle view of the tank Lighting system detail: 3 x PLL 36wattt 1 x DIY fan 1 x Reflector Soon i will update the last photo and update more information. Thanks for visit this thread and spending your time for this. Last edited by edmund83; 19th December 2008 at 12:40 PM. |
