Flowering Ping & Plantlets
« Thread Started on Apr 30, 2008, 3:26pm »
elo guys

my ping is flowering at the moment. and i also noticed a little plantlet growing at the end of one leaf. What should i do with it? Do i repot it in a separate pot? If its connected to the mother, how do i separate them?

The pot is small and the mother plant is big, dont think its enough for the baby to grow.

thanks

i`m not too sure...but i usually separate my pings if it gets over-crowded.....success rate : about 80% .

try to look & see if there are roots coming out from the plantlet. if yes, then success rate is higher. just gently separate mother/ baby plant then plonk the baby plant into similiar medium. keep away from sun. try not to enclose it up as it may rot. but humidity levels should be high.
