Re: Your expertise required.
Hi H,
It looks like both of us went to the same place in CH over the weekend. I was also in Cactus Valley and picked up the Red ( black ) Sanguinea and Indah. I also picked up Sibuyuensis and Truncata. Will probably go there again in a few months but not during school holidays. The traffice was horrendous ! Bernard |

Re: Your expertise required.
Hei Bernard,
I was at Cactus Valley on June 7 in the early evening and someone beat me to the juvenile purpurea! They were trying to push the Truncata to me as well but I was more interested in the VFT's, Sarras and Droseras. What I could not find, I did at Cactus Point the next day before my departure. But their collection of CP's were not as impressive as CV. Yes, the traffic was a killer but what took the cake was the new exit from Cactus Valley through the Big Red Strawberry! Whoever designed those 60 degree slopes must be out of their mind! A new Rexton in front of mine could not even climb the first slope, belching exhaust fumes and straining hard to make it up the first plateau. So, anyone going to CV better have a light load in the car or a more powerful engine! A good and experienced driver helps too! |
