I do not have a greenhouse but I have a shadehouse. I think most of us here from Malaysia do not need a greenhouse because of the hot tropical climate. The most we have is shade cloth protecting our CPs from the scorching afternoon sun. Maybe those mambers from overseas will have it. Do you have a greenhouse? Please share with us pictures of it and how you built it ok. Link to Post - Back to Top LoggedMy Wantlistphissionkorps Advisor - Nepenthes member is offline if you don't grow from seed, toughen up! My old chamber was about 5' h x 1.5' d x 2' w. My new one will be 6.5' h x 3.5' d x 7' w. Much, much bigger (about 10x in terms of cubic feet to be exact). I would've had it done a couple days ago, but a lack of foresight on my part (not ordering a certain part) has pushed me back until after Christmas...probably early January. I'm building it out of PVC pipe and 6mil plastic sheeting. it will house a 2-tiered (for now) shelf made of 6' long wire shelves, supported via cinder blocks, and it will also house my entire old enclosure lol. Perhaps I can pick some ideas and incorporate in my indoor grow chamber. I'm waiting on some "corner" PVC pieces that home improvement stores don't carry, since they make 0 sense for plumbing. The total cost of everything (pvc pipes, covering, lights, shelf, etc) will be about $158. I did already have some things (like 3 light fixtures), but $160ish ain't bad for a chamber of that size. Will this chamber be in your house or outside? Link to Post - Back to Top LoggedMy Wantlistphissionkorps Advisor - Nepenthes member is offline if you don't grow from seed, toughen up! I'm not fortunate enough to live in the tropics, and I can't afford to heat it up in the winter. In the desolate wasteland I live in now, it is either 100°+ or about 20°. That's what I get for living in a desert I guess. Link to Post - Back to Top LoggedNatura non facit saltum Species seed is worth its weight in platinum Valhalla when I die |
