if u use artificial light, T8 or T10 is not powerful enough, you may need T5HO to archieve that. i use T5HO 8hours a day controlled by timer. Recently there are LED based spotlight too which looks like Metal halide lamp and they save a lot of your $$ , a 70W LED lamp is almost equivalent to a 150w MH. I will post up more about this after i tested.
