Recently need quite a lot of spagnum moss. maybe 1 to 2 kg. May i know where can get it instead of those jusco / carrefour?

« Reply #1 on May 13, 2008, 5:00pm » I went to jusco klang last month but they seem not to have it.Saw they selling some cp's like vft and cobra but it was on very bad shape.I guess they dont know how to take care of it.

sometime they lack of staff to take care those plant ! too bad

« Reply #8 on May 14, 2008, 1:09pm » Hi Alienfx, are you sure they are selling cobra? Did you see the tongue of the cobra? If so, you should sapu all of them. But I doubt so, probably they are just sarracenias.

Edmund, here's a contact... James Yong (012-2340538). His family owns the company that distribute sphagnum moss to ACE Hardware etc. Theirs is the Canadian high quality Sphagnum moss. James has allowed me to posts his handphone number here. However, since he is a distributer, he sells in bulk.

You can also check with Fauzi and see if he sells in bulk. Fauzi's number is 019-2720043.

« Reply #10 on May 14, 2008, 2:24pm » Oh, if you happen to be in Cameron Highlands, you can get a whole block from YG Park nursery. If I remember correctly it is a 2ft x 2ft x 2ft block. Quite alot there, and it cost around RM200 if I remember correctly.

1 kg packing for RM45.00
