Hello from the Philippines

I've always been interested in plants and am particularly interested in the rare, exotic, interesting and bizzare ones.

I live in an old ancestral house that has rather large gardens and I am trying to fill it with plants that are out of the ordinary.

I've alwas been interested in carnivrous plants but have not really gotten into them in a big way.

I've tried venus fly traps before but was only able to grow them for a few months.

Right now I am trying to get a variety of palms to create the canopy for our gardens but I also collect anything unusual that I come across.

I also maintain a blog that documents all the construction and gardening projects that we are doing in this old house and it contains a lot posts on exotic plants already.

No carnivorous plants yet though, but I am sure I will soon enough.

I'de love to have a collection of Nepenthes hanging from some low branches of trees.

Welcome to petpitcher! I hope you will get addicted to all CPs.....they are beautiful and also very exotic! Btw, your old house is HUGE! I love your koi fish, and the pictures are very beautiful.....and the information on building a fish pond is very helpful. What happened to your venus flytraps?
