Default Re: My neglected plants

Hi Shawn,

Some of us had vikings from Nong before he sold them in a big way and wrote articles about their growing needs. We had to discover ourselves that the pitchers bleach in direct sunlight.

With a balcony, it is not easy to hide pitchers. Most of the large plants are dangling in mid-air and with their pitchers exposed to light. That red pitcher came from a young plant which happens to be on the rack. I pack the pots very closely and the pitcher developed in the shade. I seldom get such a nice pitcher since many get deformed in the tight spaces.
