perhaps I use only T5 and LED for lighting, my place don't get direct sunlight and some of my larger neps ain't too happy

Well, my balcony doesn't receive any direct sunlight at all, but just normal light. All my neps are fine.

In general terms, most neps prefer not to have DIRECT sunlight on them. Most of them do well enough with normal daylight.

actually, my neps don't even have indirect sunlight, mostly diffused lighting which they are not too happy with
